Orton-Gillingham
& Reading
We use the Orton-Gillingham program to help your student break down reading and spelling so they understand the basic principles of reading. We use the program to identify and target gaps in your child's reading ability and tailor instruction to meet their needs as a reader to ensure complete academic confidence. Once your child understands the basic foundations, we reinforce the skills so that they can recognize patterns within words, decode challenging words, and then apply these patterns within their writing.
Academic Planning
Our academic planning services consist of creating a roadmap for students to achieve their own academic goals. It involves working with students on staying up to date on their work, looking at syllabuses and grades to help plan and prioritize assignments, and setting personal objectives and goals. This work also helps students who need extra support with understanding the work given to them each day. Effective academic planning can help students stay organized, reduce stress, and achieve academic success.
